Bend Oregon Real Estate Sales

The Bend Oregon real estate market is showing signs of life. We just sold a home in NE Bend that had been listed with us for less than 3 weeks. It had been listed for the last two years with two different Bend Oregon real estate agents that were members of the Bend and Central Oregon MLS. The buyers are from California.

I wrote an offer on a listing of mine in SW Bend that has been on the market for 40 days. It was previously listed with another real estate agent from Bend for over six months. These buyers are from Oregon. Now there’s another Bend agent wanting to write an offer on the same property. We are starting to see multiple offers on well priced properties. My son and partner Matt Johnson just sold a bank repo and there were 3 simultaneous offers on that NE Bend listing.

The Central Oregon real estate market and the Bend Oregon real estate market seem to be slowly picking up. A listing of mine in NW Bend was shown by another Bend agent this weekend two separate times to the same buyer. Kevin Pangle a Bend Oregon mortgage broker told me August is typically a slow month for new applications and that after the Oregon schools start the applications pick up. We’ll see!

No one really knows which way the market is heading. Southern California prices are down but their homes are starting to sell. Those sellers are now buyers and it seems they are headed to Bend Oregon to buy real estate. Prices are down and there is a great selection of Bend homes to choose from. Now is a good time go buy Bend Oregon real estate.
